लठ्ठपणाचा संपूर्ण विचार :  obesity / fat body / स्थौल्य / जाडी वाढणे / वजन वाढणे.. हे सगळे शब्द आपल्या सगळ्यांच्या बोलण्यात / चर्चेत सतत येत असतात. लठ्ठपणा ही एक मोठी समस्या असल्यामुळे त्याच्यावर सगळ्यांचं लक्ष असतं. वस्तुतः स्थूलता ही काही खूप मोठी समस्या आहे असा काही भाग नाही. कारण जाड असला म्हणजे अनफिट आणि बारीक असला म्हणजे फिट हे सुद्धा तितकसं बरोबर नाही. परंतु आयुष्यात पुढे लठ्ठपणामुळे काही गोष्टी मागे लागून आपल्या आरोग्यावरती परिणाम होऊ शकतात त्यामुळे फार लठ्ठ होऊ नये , झाला असले तर राहू नये हे अगदी नक्की. आम्ही केशव आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सालयातर्फे पूर्वी लठ्ठपणा वरती काम सुरू केलं त्याच्यामध्ये आयुर्वेदाप्रमाणे निदान, सल्ला व चिकित्सा असं सगळं केलं. काही पंचकर्माचा भाग देखील करत असू. पण नंतर लक्षात आलं की एवढं काही पुरेसं नाहीये.....म्हणजे पंचकर्म वगैरे केलं की बारीक होतं असेही काही नाहीये; मग उगीच खोटं सांगून पैसे कशाला मिळवायचे? म्हणून मग आम्ही त्यावर काम करतो हे सांगणं बंद केलं.  मात्र रोजच्या प्रॅक्टिस मध्ये आपल्याला लठ्ठपणाचा विचार करावाच...

छोटी दीवाली में धन त्रयोदशी आती है ।उसे दिन भगवान धन्वंतरि का जन्मदिन मनाया जाता है । माना जाता है कि वे समुद्र मंथन से प्राप्त हुए थे । यह भी माना जाता है कि वे स्वयं विष्णु के अवतार है । और अलग-अलग कारणों से जैसे विष्णुजी के अवतार हुए; तो यह एक अवतार ऐसा था कि लोगों के आरोग्य की रक्षा करने के लिया गया था । इसलिए भगवान धन्वंतरि को आयुर्वेद के देवता माना जाता है, वैद्यों के देवता है और जो सब आयुर्वेद को मानते हैं उनके लिए भी वह बहुत पूजनीय देवता है । जय धन्वंतरि । नमो धनवंतरी ।

*First aid care in a case of burns.* Burns is something that needs *immediate attention*; and generally we get puzzled when somebody is affected by burning some part of body accidentally.                 Here are some tips to treat burns at home. Later you have *approach doctor*.If it covers a big area of body it is matter of concern for sure. Every part of body accounts for 9% of burns [ eg. *1 hand burn is 9% burn* ] and sum total crossing 40 % of body burns also may cause fatality. First off all *pour some water* to burned area. Cut off clothes if sticking at burns site. Then use water rinsing for *20 mins* or so as time permits. Water being shital in nature according to ayurveda its of great use in burns.               Apply *sandle wood* paste it is amazing cooling and healer to burns.
