Why are the Chaturmasa niyamas ?  Ans - As agni changes from time to time for every individual ( summer, rainy, cold seasons ) ayurveda joins hand with hindu religion and guides people to eat less in chaturmasa the rainy season when agni is less. Hello everybody, Health is wealth  Everyone of us wants healthy life. But there are hurdles like this :  🎵First part is  - many times we know some rules which help to maintain our health,; but due to our own excuses we just turn them away and create reasons for our own ill health. For example : 🍞🍔🌮🧋🍻 We know that too much of fast food  is not good for health; but many of us binge for it and cause dent to health. Advertises like ' dil mange more ' are there to educate our children in wrong direction. That adds up to wrong philosophy of life.   And  🏋🏼‍♂️⛹🏻‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️ We know that exercise is very important for health maintaining; but due to laziness many of us turn back and sleep more.  This could be a long list. So thoughtful arrangement of life and control over ourself is a vy important key note.  🎵Second part is ignorance of causes. Many people do not know that so and so things may cause illness to them and fall pray to them. ...

Morning is best time for exercise. Yoga is a must in it. Nature is the best  place. Did you exercise today ? Ayurveda says that exercise gives you health, capacity to do physical work,  decreases fats, increases appetite. It is also helpfull for mental health.

What is fitness ? Ayurveda views for being fit

Fitness in view of ayurveda - Our body is the same but how we look at it differs from person to person. For example a spiritual person will see it as just a tool for salvation. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was such a totally surrendered to God a person that he never cared about his body. His followers had to run after him to take care of his body. Yogis are also looking at it as a tool for salvation but they care for the body the most. They may be seen in ideal body forms.It is said that some yogis have such a lighter weight body that they can lift it up in air! I don't say it is not a myth but we can understand the suggestive point behind it that they are light weight and have full command on their body. Third view about own body is to just use it for the purpose of getting money and enjoy life. Some others are not yogis but are very careful about it knowing that the tool for all worldly things should be maintained as we do maintain our cars neatly! Same body different look outs sim...

Watch signals of body for being healthy.

Friends all that maters in our health maintenance is to understand the signals of our body. It is actually a very strongly sensitive machine of this world. To elaborate I can give an example of our diet. We follow lots of diet plans but neglect what our body says. Body gives many signals like being hungry at certain point of time and that of satisfaction also. Do we follow these signals properly ?  Body also meters out the need of calories also, no need to count them every day. If you are eating more than consumption of energy you become fat and heavy. Many simple signs ignored cause great loss to health. Mind it well and get great success rather than blind following of plans.
