Daibetes and ayurveda
Ayurveda has got a very strong theory as regards prameha. Though we say it is modern life style disorder; it is quite an ancient disease. The main text book of ayurveda the charaka sanhita has elaborated it in details. I am working on it for years together and now I can confidently say that ayurveda has best control over diabetes though not cure. I have had new and old case of ayurveda with or without allopathy medicins or even insulin dependents;I find in most of the cases the suger levels were out of control and patient was quite worried about it; they had fatigue and anxiety due to this. After my treatment in 90% we had good results viz stop insuline, tapper down medicines of allopathy, improvement in symptoms and improved functions of organs affected.
