First one we describe today is Arjuna is medical plant so it comes under later category. Arjuna - The scientific name of Arjuna in modern plant catalog system is Terminalla Arjuna W. Arjuna tree grows up to 60 to 70 feet high. The part used in medicines is skin of its barks. Modern science says that it contains calcium salts in the skin of Arjuna in ample dose. Maybe this helps it work on our bones due to this fact ? Qualities and uses of arjuna are as following - It is good to heart, stops bleeding, finishes oedema on body parts and heals wounds and fractures So it works on all ailments of heart. Mrs A K is under my treatment for couple of years. she had lot of symptoms and signs of hypothyroid and used to have allopathy tablets 50 mcg 5 days a week and 100 mcg 2 days a week. Now she gets only 25 or 37.5 along with my medicines and the TSH value is absolutely normal. To add with it is another important story; viz signs and symptoms almost negligible. What is AYURVEDA ? Ayurveda is a knowledge of AYU. What is AYU ? It is the amalgamation of body, senses, mind and the soul. Our life as we consider is not just body or our mind. Body erodes every second, it dies when disconnected from soul. It is the soul that binds all the 3 together as a continuous process and that is called AYU. Ofcourse body is not less important because the soul can not mount anywhere without body. That is why Ayurveda underlines importance of all 3 : the SOUL body and mind.This is the first knowledge of AYURVEDA ! Pain after herpes is a big problem, Ayurveda has answer for it Today I will share a very important case in which a young man GS who suffered from herpes zoster which is also called visarp or nagin.Initially he had pain near chest and back which eventually turned out to have blisters and yes it was herpes zoster ie. shingles. After some treatment eat dried out but he started to have severe pain in that area.And soon the pain rose up so much that he would fall unconscious for a while; depicting  as if he had siezures means fits. Episode If you get an episode during treatment don't get dusturbed. Do following for 3 days 1.Raise the dose to 4 per day. 2. Take trifala churn 1 tsf or trifala kadha 4 tsf at night. 3. Skip night dinner and just have cow or buffalo milk 1 glass with suger. 4. Apply / Eat mahatiktak ghrut twice 5. A feedback of a patient after 2 years Patients always ask me what happened to the cases which were cured by you, gave a comment on blog. But how are they now afters some years so I am posting pictures of case paper which got cured 2 years back and now called for some other patient's case. I have taken the precaution that the name and details of patient is not seen for the reason of his \ her privacy. He had symptoms continuous and values increased.
