India against corrupt system
Happy new year friend,
The year 2011 saw so many things happening among which for India most remarkable were 2 big anti corruption agitations; one by Baba Ramdeo and other by Anna Hazare.
The support secured by both of them was overwhelming and showed the anger in the minds of people for present system in the country.This was good part of the story
Baba ramdeo's agitations were brutally crushed by the government and subsequently cooling down Baba for good time since then.
Anna was not easy to be crushed that way having more massive support all over the country. So the government allowed them to show off.
But the team Anna not being so cohesive it failed to gain the same momentum in the year end rally and upavas. In the 3 to 4 months period during 17 august to dec 25 team members could not remain together some made unnecessary statements some left the team and some joined hands with the govt secretly & so on.
The media who played important role in Anna's support earlier, unnecessarily drew irregularities of Kiran Bedi's traveling expenses etc.In and all the team lost the faith of the people
The government itself never wanted strong lokapal wound up the it easily.So this was sad part of the story of anti corruption movement.
But that is not all WE ARE ALL determined to put an end to corruption and bring back good governance to this country.
For that now we need good leaders who have good team behind them, who are themselves clean and better if he has some political background too.Eg.Lokanayak jayprakash narayan who led anti emergency movement had right political background. He led the nation back to democracy and freed it from monarchy.
