What is included in ayurveda.

Ayurveda includes 
1. svasthvrutt means way to protect good health. Ref books - charak & vagbhat
2. chikitsa means if one is not able to maintain health and gets ill ; he is treated by ayurveda.
That too has 2 ways.
2A. Medicine and pancha karm. ref books - charak & vagbhat
2B. Surgery. ref book -  sushrut
The 3 fold thing rolls like this. 
First _  of all  try and not get diseases,
But due to corona it has been underlined that very healthy people who follow all svasthavrutt and exercise etc.; can also get disease. 
So second is _
If got diseases; try to get it cured by ayurvedic medicines exercise and karmas
Third only is _ Surgery;  if it is really necessary. Try to avoid but at certain times never avoid!
